In theinterview videoIt feels really heartwarming to know that there are people who truly understand and accept us wearing wigs. I’ve stopped overthinking it and started using a wig myself. At the end of the day, what matters most is being happy with who I am.

I have more time in my life

Since I started using wigs, I don’t feel like I have to pay attention to so many little things anymore. I can put more time and focus into my work and everyday life.

From a financial perspective, I no longer need to buy expensive shampoos. A full set of scalp exfoliators and scalp nourishing treatments costs over NT$5,000 and lasts about three months. That adds up to nearly NT$20,000 a year. Before I started wearing wigs, I was willing to spend money on anything that seemed like it might help with hair loss.

From a dietary perspective, I also had to force myself to eat more foods that were supposed to be good for hair, such as soy milk, nuts, oats, kelp, and chicken breast. There were so many dietary restrictions that it became troublesome. Whenever I bought or ate anything, I had to check the sodium content and keep track of how much sodium I had already consumed that day. I also had to make sure my scalp sweated every day to help clear the pores.

Hair loss , it's so sad!!!

I’m at stage 3 hair loss, and I’ve already spent over NT$400,000 on medication and hair care treatments. Especially with the PRP treatment shared by Wigman, based on my own experience, even the cheaper options still cost over NT$10,000 per session when you pay for six sessions at a time. Over the past four years, my hair loss has made me feel less and less confident, and it has been really difficult. After trying wigs, I finally found a way to solve both my hair loss concerns and the financial pressure at once.

It’s time to put my energy back into my studies and career.

Thank you, Wigman. I’m slowly learning to accept wearing wigs and hairpieces. After all, once the hairstyle looks good, that’s all that matters. I don’t need to waste time on all those unnecessary things anymore. It’s time to shift my focus back to learning and work.

Honestly, it’s nice to have a hairline, fuller hair, and a proper hairstyle right away.

I’ve had a hair transplant before, but the follow-up care required constant medication, topical treatments, and return visits to the clinic. Once you stop taking the medication, your original hair can still continue to fall out. Personally, I feel that long-term medication isn’t really a sustainable solution. For androgenetic alopecia, the final outcome often still feels like baldness — otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many wealthy people who are still bald. After using a hairpiece, I honestly find it much more practical. Being able to instantly have a hairline and fuller hair again feels pretty great.
